Welcome

Well I should say welcome to my first blog… but since I have at present zero followers I’m obliged to except that my words are echoing in a distinctly empty auditorium. That said my long term aim for this endeavour is to have a place where I can collect my thoughts and perhaps share and discuss them, to become more adept at reflecting and vocalising my sceptical inquiry, to better distinguish between earned knowledge and fairy tales.

I have a plan for the next few blogs, well more of well ordered rant actually, starting with chiropractic since one of its main body’s callously struck a chilling blow against freedom of speech across the UK recently simply to silence one Simon Singh. Yup, freedom to speak took a sneaky thwack to the back of the head so that they could force a well-respected scientist from posing reasonable questions... so while we're still allowed to question god in the UK we're not supposed to question back crackers who aren't actually registered medical practitioners and cannot provide in-depth scientific evidence into what have been at times utterly outlandish claims.

That blog will be closely followed by bio-resonance therapists then homeopaths and if you don’t know anything about them you’ll fall off your seat when you find out there sordid past and theoretical practices. But then some of you may not know the true history and beliefs of chiropractic… well read on… you’ll laugh and you’ll cry, no really, some of you may cry! The woo woo brigade are balmier than you think, and they fence their deplorable wares in a high street near you.
